Stress, or being stressed, is a commonly heard and used term that I believe we have become quite complacent about.

Some would venture to say that we thrive on stress or putting ourselves under pressure – daily. Stress, in any form, is not good for us especially if experienced over a pro-longed period of time.

The body will bear the brunt of the effects of this stress – either internally, externally or both. Stress suppresses our immune system which means we have a higher risk of illness.

It has been proven that between 40-60% of the nutrition in food that we eat is lost through the digestive process. When we consider how we live our lives nowadays, it is very clear that nutrition from the foods that we eat is not enough. Added to that, stress can compound digestive conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Leaky Gut Syndrome. Considering all this, it makes sense that some form of vitamin supplementation is required to support our busy lifestyles.

If the digestive process is compromised, it cannot absorb nutrients efficently, so oral vitamin supplementation is ineffective. The best method of delivery for these nutrients is to go directly into the blood steam via an IV line (drip). By doing this, not only do you get a fast or immediate delivery to the body but you are also able to maximise the content of nutrition without upsetting the digestive tract.

At Pure Aesthetics, we offer various vitamin cocktails aimed at brightening the skin and treating its overall health. It happens to be, that the IV infusions have loads of other positive side effects too, such as increased energy, improved mental focus, stress support, physical performance and general well-being.
